Fiona Talkington is a UK radio broadcaster on BBC Radio 3.
Talkington has an MA degree in Literature and the Visual Arts which was dedicated to the writings of Sir Kenneth Clark.[1] Before joining Radio 3 in 1989, she worked on local radio in Reading and Wiltshire. She is currently a regular presenter of Late Junction (which began in 1999[2]) and the Sunday afternoon classical requests slot as well as programmes on World Music.
An interest in Norwegian jazz, and Norway, led her to organise the November 2008 Scene Norway Festival in London.[3] She has also organised events at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.[2]
